I have recently returned from excellent 10 Day photography workshop on the Caribbean Island of Grand Cayman, led by Martin and Sylvia Edge. I have been on quite a few of their trips now, which have given me the opportunity to make friends and dive with like minded people whilst, improve my techniques in both my photography and post processing skills, whilst, constantly picking up tips not just from Martin, Sylvia but everyone else on the trip.
During this particular workshop we got to shoot a wide variety of subjects From the very photogenic Kittiwake, impressive walls covered in huge Fan corral and Sponges, diverse macro sites, through to the famous Cayman stingrays at the Sandbar.
The competition is run at the end of every Edge Workshop where everyone has to submit three of their favourite shots from the trip. The images are then shown on a large screen, as a Slideshow, on the last evening where photographers, dive guides, Hotel staff and anyone we can persuade to join in, are invited to vote for their favourite image.
